ERIC SHOOK
Eric Edward Shook, Independent Movie Director and Actor. Born in Illinois, Shook the son of James Edward Shook and the youngest son of three children, one still surviving Gary Shook. Educated with a associate of the arts degree from oakton community college Des Plaines Illinois, a Associate in applied Science degree from the community college of the Air Force and a Bachelors of Science Degree from the State of New York. Shook became interested in movie making at very early age. He made his first movie with a small Super 8 movie camera that was given to him as a gift from his uncle. At age nineteen he joined the United States Army 194Th Armored Brigade at Fort Knox Kentucky where he served three years. After the Army Eric Shook started studying aerospace and flight training receiving a pilots license, it wasn't until he moved to Chicago where he decided to produce his first full feature movie Star Force. After Star Force Eric Shook then joined the Air Forces Strategic Air Command and while serving in the Gulf War region Shook came up with the idea of Lost on Mars. After returning home from the Gulf War Shook directed and produced Lost on Mars. Lost on Mars was released all over the world and people still ask for copies to this day. Eric Shook's next project was Empire of Danger the sequel to Lost on Mars. Working out a script for Empire of Danger and considering all the obstacles to overcome Empire of danger was finally made and distributed world wide on VHS. Since then Eric Shook has put both movies on DVD and both have been digitally improved graphically with new scenes. Eric Shook was Quoted as saying "I am not the best movie maker nor am I the worst, I am just a guy who enjoys making movies".
