Mantha Balourdou, born in Athens, Greece, came to America to pursue her acting career. She studied at the State Theater School of Greece at Mary Vogiatzi Traga. Mantha also has a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from La Salle University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. The first time I came across Mantha Balourdou, I had to take a step back for a second to look into this actress a little further. What first came to my thoughts were legendary screen actresses Natalie Wood and Ava Gardner. Balourdou is the "real McCoy" when you think of old Hollywood glamor and the motion picture studios of the past. I personally thought actresses with such class had long since passed and gone. Mantha Balourdou is a young, beautiful actress with talent, education, and star qualities—just the right mixture for major motion pictures. If she had lived during Frank Sinatra's heydays, she would have fit right in with that powerhouse of celebrities. Mantha Balourdou is one class act, and I hope the studios keep her that way.
